this is a thread for all people who have graduated from the faculty of arts and letters... share "war stories" here and news about what have you've been up to after graduation... current students from the faculty are also welcome here and learn from the people who know best about being an artlet... i'm from batch 2002 and majored in legal management... im currently studying law also here in ust hopefully entering my second year... that is if i pass  anyway i hope to see you guys reply.... quote of the day "practice makes perfect.... but nobody's perfect so don't practice" |

well there was this one time where....
i was [shadow=red,left,300]late[/shadow] for my prelim exams in psychometrics under the dreaded (lets hide her under the name:) [glow=red,2,300]Mrs. E..[/glow]
She pointed out my seat to me, but I didn't see where she was pointing so I asked: [shadow=red,left,300]"Saan ako uupo, maam?"[/shadow]
She got irate at me for reasons she only knew... she then told me to give her my paper and...
[glow=green,2,300]She tore it up into a million pieces[/glow] with an evil look in her eye and she muttered" "Bullsh*t".
She eventually let me take the exam and I passed it.

You'll know you're a student of AB when: 1) You give the right answer, and your professor still calls you "gago"/"tanga".  2) You find yourself in student political party with no idea whatsoever what the f*ck you're fighting for... you're just there for the company.  3) You don't study and you still pass. ;D 4) You study and you still fail.  5) Nakikipaginuman sayo ang professor mo sa Pol. Sci. ;D 6) You go to class stone drunk and professors pretend they don't notice you. ;D 7) Ignore the guard's reminder to pin your f*cking ID, walking past them as if they didn't exist.  8) Go to school 90% of the time wearing civilian clothes. 9) Get low grades in math 10) Go home drunk almost every night. ;D |

este certified thomasian pala pero pwede parin ako maging certified artlet kasi graduate ako ng AB saka naranasan ko rin yung pumasa sa subject na hindi nagaaral ;D Pero hindi yun sa di nagaaral di ko lang siguro inaral mabuti. ;D ;D

the best na prof sa math is mam gotauco.. as in!
sino naging prof mo sa mathematics of investment? grabe.. naalala ko nun.. nakaaway ko pa si sir manapat.. ahehe...
kinontra ko kasi sya dun sa lesson.. wahah! buti na lang at ndi nya me binagsak!

Si ma'am rosales prof ko diyan na halos karamihan samin bagsak sa kanya. Naawa siya samin kaya ginawa niya kaming incomplete kasama na ako dun pero di dahil sa bagsak ako (pwede narin) kung hindi dahil sa di ako nakapagfinals dahil nagkasakit ako. Di ako nakapagfinals sa lahat ng subjects kaya ang nangyari incomplete ako lahat except p.e. Nagcompletion exam kami sa kanya pero la nangyari bagsak parin kami nagkopyahan na nga kami sa faculty room e. Ang ginawa niya binigyan niya kami ng chance na ang condition niya ay dapat maka 1.00 kami sa stat pag nagawa namin yun pasado kami. Fortunate enough ganun nga ang nangyari i got a 1.00 in my stat and that is my first taste of a flat 1. Ang saya! Pangalawa yung sa cheering. |

Kayang kaya mo yan mhel kay sir bong basta't magaral ka lang at intindihin mong mabuti yung mga binasa mo. Ang style ko kasi diyan basa memorize at the same time analyze. Ang ayaw kasi sa lahat ni sir bong yung di nagaaral e mapapahiya ka talaga pag nahuli ka niyang di nagaral ng lesson mo.

Yakang yaka mo yan siyempre nakapagprepare ka na in advance at least di ka na mahihirapan next meeting. Kung di man natuloy ang recitation niyo last time ok lang yun count it as a blessing kasi at least there's more time for you to prepare for the recitation. Nanghihina na nga ako dahil nahigop mo na ang sipag powers ko. ;D
